The How-To
There are many forms in which wheatgrass can be taken, the most common being in juice form. There are many suitable juicers on the market, ranging from approximately £90 to well above the £400 mark. Simply place your wheatgrass into the juicer, and let it do all of the hard work- at the end of the process you will have a deliciously healthy shot of wheatgrass! The average user will juice between 8 and 10 ounces of juice a day, making it more viable to order in the wheatgrass from a commercial supplier.
Recommendations
We would suggest drinking Wheatgrass juice in small amounts, ideally one to two- ounce drinks a day or every other day, and taken on an empty or nearly empty stomach. It is generally advised to wait for 30-45 minutes before consuming any other food or drink. If taking wheatgrass for therapeutic purposes, it is suggested to take one or two ounces 3 or 4 times a day. Sipping slowly will allow the body time to get used to its taste and effect, and mixing with other juices will help prevent nausea.
